Affected Other Co-ordinator
Hello I’m Kymberley and I’m the Affected Other Co-ordinator at thrivin’ together. I understand how lonely and overwhelming it can feel as an affected other and that you may think there is no one who will understand how you feel. It is my job to listen and provide emotional support and guidance and help you navigate any challenges that come with being an affected other.
I have worked with women in the past who have experienced significant domestic abuse and hope to bring some of this knowledge and experience to this role.
Each woman I work with has their own story and I am ready to listen.
I have two main hobbies which are holidays and tattoos and my favourite place I have visited so far is Cape Verde! I love to see the world and I hope to visit more places in the future. I am also a busy mum to two boys who keep me VERY busy!
In the future I hope to either pursue a degree in a domestic violence or counselling and continue to help women.
